MUKTI supports two children's homes in India: Karm Marg (meaning The Way of Action) and Naz as well as homeless people in the UK. We have been supporting these homes for nearly two decades because the work they are doing is amazing and needs to be supported. Karm Marg is a home for street-children and Naz is the only home for HIV Positive children in India.

Our big fund-raiser this year is asking you to take up the MUKTI Sun Salutations Challenge:

A month of Sun Salutations! Get your friends and family to sponsor you to complete a chosen number of Sun Salutations each day or each week from 23rd July to 22nd August. During this period the Sun ~ according to the Tropical system* ~ will be in the astrological sign of Leo, its home. A great time to pay our Sun homage and, as we make ourselves fitter and more mobile, raise funds for ~ and awareness of ~ the kids homes.

* We will alternate our Sun Salutations each year ~ going with the Sidereal System one year and the Tropical system the next.

We kick it off with a Sun Salutations Challenge Party on 17th July 2022 at the Luci Trendle Yoga Studio in Burghfield, Reading.

Fabulous raffle prizes, wonderful food and a great way to start the challenge.
