Sudan is on the brink of famine with a rapidly escalating war, limited humanitarian access and over nine million people displaced. Amidst this crisis, grassroots civilian groups are on the frontlines providing heroic humanitarian aid with little international support.

Sunduq Al Sudan is designed to support and amplify the lifesaving work done by civilian networks across the country. Modeled after alsunduq (box), the mutual aid and community savings groups popular across Sudan, Sunduq al Sudan collects and distributes funding to community-led initiatives on the ground.

UPDATE ON THE CURRENT CAMPAIGN:

So far, the $15,000 you have given has facilitated one truck to deliver 100 bags of millet to Tawila to support the 1200 families.

We urgently need to raise $15,000 for a second truck to deliver more food to Tawila where more than 40,000 women and children have sought shelter from the conflict in Al Fashir.

They need trucks with food and supplies to be sent now. Help us reach our goal.
