Story
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity is the official charity of four of the largest hospitals in Birmingham: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.
From tiny newborns on the neonatal unit to elderly patients with dementia UHB Charity supports 3million patients and their families as well as 23,000 members of hospital staff every year by providing 'added extras' that are over and above that which is provided by the NHS.
The charity also supports the countries armed forces through Fisher House UK, a "home away from home" for military families on the site of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine.
Summit Learning Trust are proud to be supporting the hospital charity and our local NHS with a variety of different fundraising activities.
