Story

Once again we are partnering with Circle Scotland and SU Scotland to help children affected by imprisonment go on holiday! These adventure holidays are a great chance for young people to have fun and enjoy time away with other young people - with no stigma involved.

Giving these children and young people a chance to choose the holiday they want and then go on holidays with SU Scotland can be a life changing experience.

This is some of the feedback from last year.

"The camp helped my child to come out of his shyness and be part of a team. He was more positive, he's more at ease, and knows he will be fine interacting with other children."

"The experience was life changing for my child. He was so supported and came back a different person and interacted and communicated so much more after their trip."

Other children have said that the experience helped them deal with their emotions and helped calm them.

These are only a few stories out of many testimonies from staff, children and parents who have been impacted by these summer camps. We would love the opportunity to continue this and to hear more stories!
