Story
SAT-7 Ambassador Liz Allen has already taken up the challenge. After this year's London Marathon was postponed until October, its organisers invited charity fundraisers to take on the 2.6 Challenge -- an activity of their choice based around the numbers 2.6 or 26.
"I'm certainly not terribly fit and a bit limited in what I can do", said Liz, who is registered blind as a result of a childhood brain tumour; she also has hypo-pituitary disorder and admits to very dodgy knees! Nevertheless, Hertfordshire-based Liz devised and completed her own list of ten 2.6 challenges.
She started very locally, with 26 minutes tidying her bedroom and 26 rapid ascents of her staircase. She went slightly further afield to include 26 times up and down her garden, 26 laps of a local lake, and 13,000 steps in a day.
Liz said: "I have been really taken with SAT-7 and the wonderful work you do. I hope the small donation from my 2.6 exploits will help just a little bit. "
If Liz can do it, so can you!
