Story

On the 7th of July the children will finish the academic year at St. George’s, and once again we are implementing the summer feeding programme to support the children and their families over the 3-month summer break when the children will not attend school.

All money raised will go to buying wheat flour, teff and rice which will be distributed to supplement the meagre food they otherwise can afford.

We are aiming to feed all 550 children and their families for the 3 months school holidays which will cost £6500 in total, a cost of approximately £11 per family.

By providing these families with food during this time we can ensure that the children are fed and that their weight and well-being is maintained. We can only do this with your help. Thank you so much for any contribution you can make.
