Story

Every year Indie Rescue & Rehome continue to support our older dogs in their homes. We believe every dog, no matter what their age, should have a safe, kind and comfortable environment. Old age can bring health problems and we support by taking care of Veterinary bills, specialist food for older tums, long term drug needs and even providing waterproof mattresses!

The cost of insuring an older dog is extraordinarily high, especially if we have no veterinary records, so by supporting our sugar faced oldies and their new owners we provide that safety net that means the very best homes can be found and we will stand beside them when we are needed.

Old age is not granted to all but with your help we can make those golden years shine for our beautiful sugar faces. Thank you

The Independent Setter Rescue & Rehome was formed by a small band of people who believe that dogs deserve better. Based on a lifetime of experience we hope to help. Whether you are looking for a new companion dog in your life or you are in a position that you need to rehome or if you have health or training questions , we will always do our very best to assist. We try our very best to rescue dogs from poor situations, heal them physically and mentally and find responsible, forever homes where we will watch over their needs for a lifetime. We offer hands on support and financial care for older dogs knowing that every day is precious. The needs of every dog are different and we hope our adopters realise that it is what you can do for the dog, not what the dog can do for you.
