Story
St Wilfrid's Centre's Runners do the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise funds for our work with homeless, vulnerable and socially isolated people.
It has been 30 years since Monsignor Kilgannon founded St Wilfrids Centre. Since 1991, with a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, the Centre has been a supportive, trusted, welcoming community for homeless, vulnerable and socially isolated people.
During the past 17 months many of us have had a small taste of what life is like for many of our clients. Feeling lonely, socially isolated and frightened is a daily experience for vulnerable people and we at St Wilfrids Centre have been working throughout the pandemic to provide support in whatever way we were able.
Opening fully on 2nd August we continue to provide support to those in need. Please help St Wilfrids Centre by sponsoring our runners. Thank you very much.
