Story

Will you help us to raise £6,000 to purchase a specialist low-impact exercise equipment to help our patients who have suffered a stroke to get mobile again?

How this equipment will help our patients

The effortless motor driven movement is ideal for the regulation of muscle tone, loosening stiff muscles and for early mobilisation after long illness. Passive training stimulates blood circulation, digestion and joint flexibility.

There is also motor-supported movement therapy, the function which enables easy transition from passive to active training. A motor-supported movement stimulates strength and endurance even with minimal muscle strength.

Finally there is active training with the patients own muscle power against finely adjustable resistance levels strengthens leg, arm and upper body muscles and stimulates the cardio-vascular system.
