Story

Be part of Team St Oswald's in 2022 for the most famous half-marathon in the world. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a first time Great North Runner, our team will support you all the way!

As a member of St Oswald's Hospice team, you will receive:

A fundraising pack, full of ideas and tips to help you reach your fundraising goal.

A free #TeamStOswalds running vest

Regular newsletters with training tips, information about training sessions, news and updates.

Access to St Oswald's Hospice tent after the run, where there will be access to massage tables, refreshments, and the warmest and wholehearted of welcomes from our fantastic volunteers!

Access to our dedicated runner's Facebook Group where you can meet other Team St Oswald's runners and benefit from their advice and support

By purchasing a place to run the Great North Run with St Oswald's you are committing to raise a minimum of £350 towards the work of the Hospice. Our fundraising team can support you all the way in reaching your target.

Every penny you raise will stay here in the North East and will allow us to support families at what may be the most difficult time of their lives. We hope that running your 13.1 miles will be that little bit easier knowing the difference it will make, and well keep you up to date with stories from the hospice, from those you are supporting.

Good luck! You're doing something incredible for local families and we think you are brilliant.
