Stop, Listen, Look...

Stop, listen and look is one small action that may start to create a sense of wonder and awe about bumblebees. Raising money to continue education, training and engagement activities are crucial components of our work.

Bumblebees are in decline because of a loss of their habitats. Our landscape is changing, over 97% of the UK's grasslands have been lost in the past 70 years. We work to put much needed flowers back into the countryside to benefit our bumblebees and other wildlife.

Story

In the early 1980s, a Harvard University biologist named Edward O. Wilson proposed a theory called biophilia: that humans are instinctively drawn towards their natural surroundings.

Nature is the grandest show on earth, and bumblebees, beautiful and gentle can create a sense of wonder - to all ages. Our work with children in schools and particularly our unique Bumblebee Education Experience has shown how inspired children can be.

We would like to continue our work educating, enthusing and helping to create a generation that wants to protect nature, in particular the humble bumble, now and in the future. Your support will help the Trust achieve this.
