Story
In the United States, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 3000 people die from foodborne illness annually.
In recognition of September's annual Food Safety Education Month, STOP has organized a fundraiser called STOP3000. Donors who participate in STOP3000 can double their donations, thanks to a generous $100,000 grant that matches every dollar raised.
STOP is committed to preventing illness and death from foodborne pathogens through education, advocacy, and support. With the support of compassionate individuals like yourselves, we can continue to raise awareness about food safety and work towards eliminating foodborne illnesses in our communities.
Our goal this year is to raise funds to support our mission and vision to STOP3000 people from losing their lives to illness from a foodborne pathogen. This year we have custom event swag, designed by artist Lauren Astra, that participants can preorder. Those who raise over $1,500 will receive free swag in honor of their contributions to STOP3000!
Help us give 3000 silenced voices an opportunity to be heard.
