In March 2024, we were given the worst possible news my lovely husband Ste had Cancer. This was a complete shock and soon after diagnosis we learned that sadly the cancer was too advanced for any treatment.

Upon arrival at the Hospice, we were greeted by such a caring wonderful Staff who from the off, made Ste so comfortable, giving us time to be with him as a family. During our time there, we felt so supported and Ste was treated like a king and we indeed felt that the Haven was a home from home. We are so fortunate to have this amazing place on our doorstep in our hour of need!

We will never be able to thank The Haven and Staff enough for the time we spent with them, but by raising money we would like to think we are helping this wonderful place to continue, so that another family just like ours gets some comfort during the most difficult time of their lives.
