Why Step Up For Nystagmus?
While every case of nystagmus is different, the effect of nystagmus on depth perception means that negotiating stairs can be a challenge. In the lead up to Nystagmus Awareness Day on 20 June, we're asking you to join us as we 'Step Up For Nystagmus' to raise funds for nystagmus and raise awareness of this aspect of the condition.
How to 'Step Up For Nystagmus'
- commit to walking up and down the stairs at work (or using your stairs at home) for 15 minutes a day every day till 20 June
- challenge yourself to walk 15 minutes each day till 20 June
- set yourself a daily steps target and count your steps
- ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you
When you raise your first £100 we'll send you a FREE Nystagmus Network T-shirt to wear throughout the rest of your challenge!
