Established in 2008, Stepping Stones is a Luton based womens charity. We equip women who have suffered domestic abuse or are vulnerable due to substance misuse with hope, skills and resources to make positive life choices. Delivered from our womens-only centre, we offer a lifeline to vulnerable women and their children, providing free practical and emotional support that gives them the strength to recover from trauma and create opportunity and freedom to transform their life and the lives of their family to reach their full potential. We do this through our core values: Safety We believe everyone has the right to feel safe and secure to grow and make their own decisions. Informed Choice We give women information and support to enable them to make their own healthy choices. Collaboration We work respectfully with women and a breadth of partners to enable women to move forward with their lives. Empowerment We support women to make changes by building and recognising their own strengths and skills.
