Visit the charity's profileOne year later, and Ukrainians in Ukraine and Ukrainian Newcomers across Niagara need our help now more than ever. The "war in Ukraine" continues, but much of the world has moved on - this news is just not "sexy" anymore.
We were overwhelmed with everyone's support last year and am committed to keep the drum beating.
This is why, on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 we are coming back for a second year with our cycling fundraiser.
This year, we will be raising funds for Help Us Help and The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (Niagara Chapter).

Enjoy a scenic, *self guided* tour of the Niagara region. Starting with a brief ceremony and blessing at St. Mary's Ukrainian Church in Niagara Falls, and ending your ride with some nourishing home-made Ukrainian food!
There are multiple sample routes to choose from. A ~20-km route for those who want to get out for a spin and have some fun while supporting a great cause. An approximately ~120-km route that takes you to Rosewood Estates Winery and back for those who are looking for something more intense. An approximately ~60-km route ending at the turnaround point. The ride is *self-guided* and voluntary. Each rider must acknowledge and sign a waiver and respect the rules of the road - safety is of utmost importance.
Our fundraising goal is to exceed last year's achievement of $100,000. We will raise funds by: individual rider donations and/or individual rider fundraising (required for registration), food sales, and sponsorship opportunities. If you want to participate in another way, there are many opportunities to do so. You can: make a donation to an individuals' fundraising page, provide sponsorship, or donate goods/services. Funds raised will go directly to support urgently-needed humanitarian efforts in Ukraine via the registered Canadian-Ukrainian charity, Help Us Help. This year, our food sales and sponsorship dollars will go directly to support newcomers from Ukraine to the Niagara region via The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (Niagara chapter).

Help Us Help does not condone the gathering of large groups to train for, participate in, or celebrate the completion of the event activities. To be eligible for participation, individuals must agree that they assume all risks that come with their activity of choice and must agree to a waiver, through the hyperlinked form in Step 1.
