Rape Crisis England & Wales Virtual Challenge
Set up your fundraising page today and Step Out in Solidarity with victims and survivors of sexual violence every day for 30 days. You can walk, run, swim, roll or move in any other way and choose different distances to complete from 50km, 100km or 150km.
The challenge will launch on the 7th February the start of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week and end on International Womens Day Tuesday 8th March.
Last year was a difficult and painful year. The tragic cases of Sarah Everard, Bibaa Henry, Nicole Smallman, Sabina Nessa and countless others demonstrated how far we have to go in combatting violence against women. But we also witnessed an outpouring of solidarity and we wanted to offer you our supporters, the opportunity to physically step out.
Funds raised from this campaign will go towards Rape Crisis England & Wales vital work to:
- Directly support victims and survivors by providing information and resources
- Promoting the needs and rights of women and girls who have experienced sexual abuse, rape and all forms of sexual violence
- Driving excellence within Rape Crisis Centres via National Service Standards
- Raising awareness of sexual violence and abuse in the wider community and with government.
We will celebrate the end of the challenge by inviting all those who stepped out together to a special online event for International Womens Day
