Step Out To Prevent Breast Cancer
Can you walk 300,000 steps in 30 days?
Join our Step Out challenge and act to prevent breast cancer.
New studies show around 30% of breast cancer cases can be prevented. By making small changes to your lifestyle, such as staying active and eating a healthy diet, you can significantly reduce your risk of breast cancer.
The average person in the UK walks 3000-4000 steps a day yet the NHS recommends walking a minimum of 10,000 steps. By Stepping Out to Prevent Breast Cancer and walking 300,000 in 30 days you will be achieving that recommendation and reducing your own risk of breast cancer as getting active can help reduce your risk by 20%.
