AnnieCannons is an innovative, national nonprofit that trains survivors of human trafficking to be tech professionals. AC’s programs are designed to economically empower survivors through high skills training, job readiness support, and work pathways into the technology industry.
For $10,400, you can directly sponsor a student as they chart their journey from trafficking towards a successful career in tech. Sponsorship covers much needed stipends for students as they work on software projects in the classroom helping pay for crucial living and medical expenses. Students receive four months advanced learning, constituting 400 hours in the classroom working with a team of Technical Instructors, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, a Student Success Coordinator, and Career Development Managers. As a Stellar Circle member, you will be invited to private quarterly events to learn more about our impact, chat with our CEO, and connect with other members.

27.6 million people are being trafficked around the world, and 500,000 people are trafficked in the United States each year, including large numbers of domestic trafficking situations. Many are caught in a perpetual cycle of re-exploitation.

Our program utilizes a trauma-informed pedagogy that is mindful of the unique learning and support needs of our students while preparing them for meaningful and career-building opportunities with companies.
