'What an incredible day we had yesterday at the Great North Run! It was fantastic to see so many of our runners in the Hospice charity tent before and after the big race. We can't thank you enough for all of your support and dedication in fundraising over the last year - you have all done so well! On behalf of the team at the Hospice, well done and thank you for helping to raise over £17,000!'
- Sarah Donkin, Community and Events Fundraiser
About:
We have a wonderful team of amazing Great North Runners taking on the world's greatest half marathon in aid of St Cuthbert's Hospice on Sunday 12th September 2021.
#TeamStCuthberts
St Cuthbert's Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and people that are bereaved. We make no charge for any of the services that we offer, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2.3 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running!
All of the care we provide is only possible thanks to the generous support we receive from the communities we serve. The local community helped to create St Cuthbert's Hospice in 1988 and today helps us to continue making every day count for those who rely on our vital services.
