Story

St Catherine's Hospice cares for local people at the end of their lives in Surrey and Sussex, and supports those closest to them. Every step taken by our hospice heroes across the Sahara desert will help the hospice be there for local people and those close to them when life comes full circle.

Our Sahara Trek takes our challengers through the Moroccan Sahara across ancient dried up river beds, sand dunes and vast sun baked plains, accompanied by a knowledgeable support team and a herd of camels.
Journeying across the third largest desert, our team will be trekking the Sahara for three days.

"Having met people personally affected by the hospice and those who have worked there, I have seen what an important part of the local community St Catherines is. It needs all the support it can get to carry on this fantastic work, and that is why I have signed up to the Sahara Trek." Trudi

Your support will help us to reach our £140,000 target and will help the hospice be there for local people and those close to them when life comes full circle.
