Story

Many of the children adopted or fostered through St Andrew’s Children’s Society have faced trauma, abuse, or neglect from a young age. As a result, both the children and their adopters or foster carers often require ongoing, specialist support.

We are committed to providing our families with lifelong support—whenever they need it and as often as they need it. We feel that this is our moral duty.

As a voluntary adoption and fostering agency, we rely on fundraising to cover the cost of this essential support.

That’s why your participation in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on our behalf means so much to us and our families. With your help, we can continue to provide the vital support our families depend on.
