You Made Christmas Mean Something Different in 2020
Thank you to ALL who have donated and helped us exceed our target. Keep an eye on SSJ.org.uk for news about this appeal. You did it!
Original Appeal Information:
We simply wanted to know what words people affected by homelessness would use to describe Christmas. Those words included Lonely, Hate, Sadness, Stressful and even Bah-Humbug.
As well as single words, one person told us they had "No happy memories" and one person said they want "love and joy".
Some did tell us that they enjoy Christmas and are looking forward to their first one with SSJ - and we want to make sure they have one to remember.
Help us to raise £5,000 so we can provide people affected by homelessness with a gift or a hot meal at a time when they feel alone.
Any money raised above the £5000 target will go towards personal budgets, helping vulnerable people take the next step forward in 2021 by buying I.D, bus passes, smart clothes for job interviews, and more.
