Visit the charity's profileThe number of rough sleepers in Slough is still rising and there is a real need for shelter during the coldest months of the year. The Slough Winter Shelter is now in its 7th year and at the end of December 2019 will open again - each night to the end of March, taking up to 20 rough sleepers each night. and providing a safe, warm, dry place to sleep.
The 'Slough Sleepout for the Homeless' is the main source of funding for the night shelter. This is a chance to get involved and support the shelter, by sleeping outside together for one night. It is a fully managed and secure environment where you can join many others for a night of solidarity, entertainment and fun - and a night where you too can experience a night in a cardboard box.
