Story
Looking for a way to get active this Thanksgiving while supporting a good cause? Grab a friend or two and waddle off your gobble!
Waddle Off Your Gobble is a virtual, two-mile waddle (walk) during the Thanksgiving weekend (November 24-27) that supports the Twin Cities-based, Stepping Stone Emergency Housing.
Pastor Paul from Chain of Lake Church in Blaine shares how easy it is!
***Update*** This video was created in 2021. The cost for one night of shelter is now $55 in 2022.
As many of us feast over this wonderful weekend and celebrate with our loved ones, this is also an opportunity to remember those who are not as fortunate, and give back to the community. Through your support, you'll be helping people in need of shelter and care this holiday season.
Stepping Stone Emergency Housing is a 24/7 shelter for adults experiencing homelessness. More than a shelter, Stepping Stone is a place for residents to live and receive help as they strive to end their experience of homelessness.
Proceeds from this event will help Stepping Stone residents by:
giving them a warm, safe place to sleep
supplying basic needs, including three meals a day
providing access to Stepping Stones unique programming
