Saints Sled Dog Rescue Kennel Campaign

We at Saints Sled Dog Rescue are working towards building our VERY OWN rescue and boarding kennels. Rescuing sled dogs is what we do - NO MATTER WHAT! Kennels would allow us to work with dogs who need rescuing and rehabilitating on BIGGER scale.

Story

We are Saints Sled Dog Rescue anon-profit charity looking to raise sufficient funds so that we can build their very own rescue and boarding facility.

We strive to be the very FIRST sled dog specific facility in United Kingdom which offers breed specific rescue kennels, overnight boarding, daycare, grooming, hydrotherapy, supplies AND educational centre.All-under-one-roof!

But, before we get there we need YOUR help. To make our dream into a reality we need to raise £200,000 andwe believe with your help, we can smash it!!

About US...

We are Saints Sled Dog Rescue, a non-profitable charity dedicated to rescuing and re-homing Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute breeds. We were founded by Heather Saville in January 2013 after she saved a little girl called Athena. SInce opening our doors we have saved over 800 dogs, 1 cat and STILL COUNTING!!

Our Mission...

"To welcome into our hearts all animals and humans with the unconditional love they deserve offering support, dedication and knowledge - building a community with compassion and respect for all living things.

To provide for everyones needs all under one roof, treating every pet like family, making their stay a home-from-home experience while continuing to rescue and re-homesled dogs in the UK."

Our Vision...

Our dream is to build the SSDR Boarding and Rescue Kennels so we can not only continue rescuing and rehoming sled dogs in the UK but to also be able to offer facilities where we can rehabilitate dogs from ANY backgrounds. With over 14 years experience in sled dog breeds we are looking to specialise in dogs with behavioural issues, disabilities or those who just need that little more love to gain trust in humans once more. We aim to work along side other rescue centres, dog wardens and the local councils offering our experinence and facilities to any breed of dogs in need.

Our rescue kennels will be dedicated to helping unwanted, neglected and abandoned sled dogs in the UK as well as holding facilities for other rescues in need of kennel space, emergency kenneling for dogs in needand quarantine kennels for dogs with potential illnesses. The rescue kennels will have its very own educational centre which will grow to help educate the general public, visitors and supporters on the care of ALL BREEDS of dog. It will help us educate generations to come on approaching and caring for dogs as well as being a indoor/outdoor training facility for dog training, talks, seminars and events.

The educational centre will be used to train current rescues, allowing potential adopters to meet the dogs in a controlled, calm environment which the dogs are accustomed to, ensuring we can make the re-homing process smooth from the word go.

We aim to invest into our future, building on the kennels to create the UK's VERY FIRST,all-under-one-roof, sled dog rescue and boarding centre which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing these amazing breeds whilst providing owners with resources at their fingertips to learn, train and support sled dogs in the UK.

We want to facilitate new and experienced owners alike in supporting, education and enhancing experience to build a legacy for generations to comehelping rescue, rehabilitate and rehome sled dog breeds.
