As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.

Y programs provide critical safety around water knowledge and teach swimming skills for youth and adults.
In 2022, the Scottsdale/PV YMCA will: Provide 200 youth with swim lessons free of charge
Y programs provide experiences that build a sense of belonging and welcome young people to develop their self-identity.
In 2022, the Scottsdale/PV YMCA will:
Provide teens with a safe space to hang out and experiences to help build self-esteem and confidence
Provide scholarships for 20 teens to participate in Youth and Government
Y programs support parents in creating stronger families to lower child poverty, reduce social-isolation, increase positive health outcomes, and increase family income.
In 2022, the Scottsdale/PV YMCA will: Provide financial assistance for low-income families to access a high quality preschool program
Y programs work to reduce depression and fear through outreach and safe social gatherings.
In 2022, the Scottsdale/PV YMCA will: Provide experiences for seniors to socialize and develop a healthy lifestyle
