UPDATE 12.12.2022 -Unfortunately the Santa Dash could not go ahead this year as planned due to ice and snow on the route at Queens Park. We and our supporters are disappointed at this but safety must be our priority-we hope all donors understand and can still support .We have invited all our Santa dashers to wear their suits and take a stroll/run in their own time when it is safe to do so-we are delighted so many have already done this over the weekend! Prizes still to be awarded for best man, woman, boy, girl and dog!
Thank you
Team Springhill
The perfect start to the festive season in the Rochdale borough. Gather your friends, family, four legged friends and don your Santa suits for a seasonal spectacle of 100's of Santa's in gorgeous Queens Park. Start the morning with Christmas tunes from our live brass band. Complete a 2k or 4k course at our own pace and collect your medal from the festive backdrop of the bandstand. We are expecting a special visitor on his sleigh to congratulate all finishers! It will be impossible to not feel full of festive cheer after this!
After 17 years of our annual Santa Dash we are working towards our next milestone fundraising total for the event- £200,000.Please help us to break this or come closer to it!
£75 could treat a patient to a spa day at the Hospice, helping them to feel pampered and relaxed for Christmas.
£200 could help to fill Springhills In-Patient Unit with magical Christmas decorations.
£438 could pay for 2 Hospice at Home nurses to spend Christmas Day with patients, making what could be their last Christmas as special and as comfortable as possible
