The South Shore Child Guidance Center, located in Freeport, New York has provided behavioral health, crisis intervention, and substance use services for children, families, and adults for over 60 years in the south shore communities of Nassau County.

Each year, we look forward to our Spring Fling which brings together our many friends including: board members, staff, people who access our services, sponsors, and donors. We walk to raise awareness about behavioral health needs and substance use disorders, and we walk to raise support for the programs and services of South Shore Child Guidance Center.

Although, we cannot walk together this year, the needs of the children, adults, and families that access our services have not diminished. In many ways, their needs have increased as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Support for the South Shore Child Guidance Center programs and services remains critical in order to effectively address these needs. By walking in small groups in your local communities, donating to the cause, or purchasing raffle tickets, your support helps children, adults, and families navigate through difficult emotional experiences, including everyday challenges as well as significant traumatic events and crises.
