Story

Support Our Glasgow Night Shelter: Sponsor a Bed for Someone in Need

In January 2024, Homeless Project Scotland launched a night shelter on Glassford Street in Glasgow. Initially planned to close on March 30th, 2024, the overwhelming demand for our service has led us to keep the shelter open beyond this date. The housing emergency has made it clear that there is a critical need for safe, warm accommodation for those living on the streets.

Every night, our shelter provides a lifeline to 35 individuals, offering a warm bed and a safe place to sleep away from the cold and wet streets. Our shelter is entirely volunteer-led with no paid staff, relying solely on the goodwill and generosity of our community.
