By taking part, you can donate to fund a conversation that will help a survivor of modern slavery move forwards with their life. This could be through 1-2-1 therapeutic support from our wellbeing and therapy coach. It could enable a translator to be present at a support session, so that all individuals can understand and have access to the support they need.
Communication is fundamental in building connections and relationships with others, understanding and hearing what’s important to them. So many of the people we support have not had the opportunity to be heard or to build trusting relationships, due their exploitation. They often feel isolated and disconnected from their community.
So this summer, Sponsor a Conversation for someone who has experienced modern slavery and needs to reach out for help.
£25 could fund half an hour for a translator to attend a meeting, enabling them to make informed decisions about next steps
£30 could fund a therapy and wellbeing session for someone who needs help managing and processing their trauma
If you are getting together with friends and family, why not hold a Sponsor a Conversation fundraising event? This could be a BBQ, fun sports day, coffee morning, or a picnic – anything that spreads shared wellbeing and a sense of community.
