Story
Supporters across Ireland will be jumping, splashing, dipping or swimming each day for a month of their choosing to support cancer patients and we would love you to join them.
Did you know? In 2023 alone, an estimated 42,000 people received a cancer diagnosis in Ireland.
However, thanks to earlier detection, improved care and targeted treatments, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. Today, there are over 200,000 cancer survivors in Ireland.
Donations raised during Splash a Day will help us provide, free counselling, lifts to treatment, funding to families facing childhood cancer diagnosis, research to find better treatments for cancers and so much more. The Irish Cancer Society typically receives only 5% of its income from the Government, so it’s thanks to your generosity that we can continue to provide vital free services and support to ensure nobody in Ireland faces cancer alone.
Stay up to date on water safety for your daily splashes to have fun and be safe while doing it! Go to www.watersafety.ie to learn more.
