Story
We understand that times are tough right now because of the cost of living crisis, but this Christmas, your donation is needed more than ever to support the Art Therapy service which continues to be in high demand. Our sessions help people to express emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress and depression when words fail them.
A donation today of £23.01 will provide 1/2 hour of face to face art therapy or, if you can donate more, £46.02 will support a 1 hour session for someone affected by cancer, here, in Northern Ireland
If you have a few minutes to spare, please take some time to read retired teacher, Patricia Rollins' story, and how Art Therapy is helping her.
I believe that Art Therapy helps me to express things that I cant put into words.
After such a tough time, it was so relaxing to lose myself in the art. Ive found it a real comfort and loved the company. The therapy has provided me with the opportunities to meet other local people who have been affected by cancer.
I have been able to learn new skills like needle felting and art journaling which has kept my mind free from worry and filled with positive creativity.
