Story

Use your pedal power to support children and young people's mental health at this year’s Independent Schools Show!

We’re Place2Be – the UK’s leading children’s mental health charity providing school-based mental health services.

Our mission is to improve the mental wellbeing and prospects of children, providing a lifeline to those facing challenges such as friendship issues, anxiety, or self-harm.

Before I came to Place2Be I felt like I was living in a tight corridor. Now I feel I have room and space to think differently, it’s changed me so much. I’ve recommended it to so many of my friends.

You can join our mission by taking part in our Pedal for Mental Health Challenge!

All you have to do is find us at the show and donate to spin. Your support will make a massive difference.

- £5 could help a vulnerable child access support

- £16 could help a child talk to a qualified counsellor in a lunchtime drop-in session about their worries

- £54 could enable a child to have a one-to-one counselling session about issues like bereavement or suicide ideation

Spinning not your thing? You could also show your support by wearing a splash of Place2Be orange at the show and donating £1.

With 1 in 5 children now having a probable mental health condition, our work has never been more needed.

You can find out more about our work at: www.place2be.org.uk.
