The slide/ climbing frame in the village playground is a venerable 30 years old. The rest of the playground was replaced in 2015 but there were not enough funds to include a new main slide. Instead the existing unit was refurbished, repaired and repainted. But the time has now come when it should be replaced. The most recent safety inspection noted the timber is not in good condition and there should be a 'plan to replace.'
