Story
Thousands of abandoned DOGS & CATS in Ukraine are in urgent need of food and medicines.
PLEASE HELP US SUPPORT THEM.
Since the war in Ukraine began nearly two years ago, DogsnHomes Rescue has delivered 200,000 kg of pet food, aid and medical supplies for the abandoned pets in Ukraine. We reached this target in December 2023! Our new target is to reach 300,000 kg of aid delivered by the end of 2024.
DogsnHomes Rescue has also joined forces with US non-profit partner Ukrainian War Animals Relief Fund.
An international team of volunteers worked with Ukrainian vets at mobile spay & neuter clinics. The 2 week mission achieved:
1559 Sterilisations & 1959 Microchips, with pets photographed / logged on a database
Five days at Sirius Animal Shelter - largest in Europe with 3000 dogs & 200 cats
We set up clinics in in Kyiv, Bucha, Gostomel, Hlevasi, Nemishaev, Cooks, Ivankovy, Funnel, Koranzhou, Rzhyshchevi and Odesa (which had bullet holes in walls and tables and no water!)
An HGV from the UK with 26 Pallets of AID for shelters
Gary Baxter, Co-founder of DogsnHomes says
The situation in Ukraine is dire and the need is endless. We met amazing, brave people who stayed behind to look after the helpless pets.
We saw dogs who had been beaten and had their ears/tails cut off by Russians.
Please donate so we can continue to support the CATS and DOGS in Ukraine - it's an animal welfare crisis on an unimaginable scale and we offer a lifeline to so many animals.
