This year, I’m taking on an epic challenge—running 1,000km along the South West Coast Path to raise money for The Outward Bound Trust and inspire young people to push their limits and believe in their potential.

The South West Coast Path is no ordinary route. Spanning 1,014km (630 miles) with an incredible 35,000m of elevation gain—almost four times the height of Everest—it’s one of the toughest trails in the UK. As preparation, I’ll be tackling the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (299km / 186 miles, 10,000m elevation), a huge challenge in itself!

Outdoor adventure has shaped who I am. It has pushed me beyond my limits, built my resilience, and shown me the power of stepping outside my comfort zone. I want to give young people the same opportunity to experience that growth and self-belief.

That’s why I’m supporting The Outward Bound Trust, a charity that transforms young lives through outdoor experiences. Many young people never get the chance to test their resilience, connect with nature, or discover what they’re truly capable of. Outward Bound helps them do exactly that.

But this challenge is about more than just running—it’s about proving that we’re all capable of more than we think.Every step I take is for the next generation, showing them that with determination and courage, anything is possible.
