This year marks our 25th anniversary as a charity, and whilst we can celebrate how we’ve fought for people over the years, we cannot celebrate the fact that we are still required as much as we are, over two decades later.
324,990 families in England were assessed as homeless in 2023-24, this is up 12.3% from 2022-23.
These figures include 159,000 children.
With record numbers sadly being broken, this means we are needed more than ever before.
But there is hope. If we pull together and deliver the right support for those experiencing homelessness, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
At Simon On The Streets we promise to always fight the corner of those who are vulnerable, and who have been let down by the system. And we will use our voice to get those in power to listen.
We fight for those who deserve a proper home to live, because no one deserves to live on the streets.
We understand that anyone can be homeless and we will continue providing hope for those without a voice, as we have done for over 25 years.
