Sophie is a happy, active 8-year-old who likes to dance and play with her friends. However, due to uncontrolled asthma she was unable to do the things she loved and was in and out of hospital due to a series of life-threatening asthma attacks.

Her mum, Lydia reached out to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, frustrated and worried, as despite frequent hospital visits, Sophies asthma was getting worse. During one of our Asthma Workshops, our team helped to give invaluable advice on managing asthma, treatment and how to minimise triggers for Sophies asthma. Two weeks later, Lydia called to say that Sophie had improved drastically since attending the workshop, and was back to being a happy, energetic girl, able to go back to dancing and playing with her friends.
