Story
Blue Sky is one of the leading early intervention providers in the UK and works with children across the world to help them find their voice.
Through a specialist nursery provision and innovative therapy services, Blue Sky are providing much needed early help and support to children and families at the very beginning of their diagnosis journey.
As a grassroots organisation, Blue Sky rely on fundraising and donations to keep their services accessible to all.
Autism is represented by the colour Blue, which is of course our favourite! For us Blue represents so many different aspects of our work and ethos. Blue skies are about hope, but also represent future thinking. For the month of April (amd beyond) we are asking you to do something BLUE for us. This could mean joining in one of our Blue events which will be listed here and on our social media. Or you can create your own! You can dress up as your favourite Blue character and go to school/ work/ a night out. You can get your whole school/ office involved in a dress up Blue day. You can make lots of Blue cupcakes and do a Blue bake sale. You can run 5/10/15k (or more) dreased aa a smurf!
We have lots of ideas for anyone who wants to join us. All we ask is that you make it fun and that you can donate directly on here through our justgiving page.
Since Covid many, many things have changed and we are lucky that we are still going strong and still supporting families all over the world. However, one of the biggest changes since 2020 has been the significant differences in funding criteria put in place across a number of small grant providers that we previously relied on. So, we are now going it alone and we need your help!
As a small charity, everything you donate goes straight back into our specialist nursery and therapy programmes.
