Sofa2Saddle is the ideal challenge for those looking to get fit, find a new hobby and conquer a challenge you may once have thought impossible in this exclusive plan you'll find eight weeks worth of training that will take you from the comfort of your sofa to crossing the 50km mark. This challenge will ease you into the saddle, making sure you steadily build up your strength, speed and stamina for the ultimate 50km challenge, the equivalent of 31 miles! Throughout the challenge youll be supported by our Sports Team and you can also connect with fellow riders on our Facebook group.

Since 1990 Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation has funded over £30 million in lung cancer research, lay the groundwork for lung cancer screening, funded the first ever lung cancer nurse specialist, performed the first ever lung cancer keyhole surgery, funded and built the first lung cancer research centre in the UK, campaigned for life-lengthening treatments, raised awareness of lung cancer, challenged the misconceptions around the disease, provided emotional, practical & financial support for thousand diagnosed & living with lung cancer.

Throughout the Covid 19 Pandemic we were there to ensure no one faced lung cancer alone. Calls to our Ask the Nurse service increased 61%, whilst our latest Keep in Touch support service is ensuring the most socially isolated are not overlooked or forgotten. And our Still Here campaign reached over 2.2million people urging and reassuring those with symptoms to contact their GP.

And it is not over yet. With your help, we will continue to support everyone affected by this disease. With your support, we will fund research so more people are diagnosed early. Together, we will campaign for further treatments to give families more time together. Thanks to your generosity, we will raise awareness and challenge misconceptions.
