Story
Giants of the Belting World are now going to be the Giants of Fundraising.
Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is delighted to announce their new corporate partner Smiley Monroe.
The giants of the belting world are now going to become the giant of fundraising and help to raise vital funds and awareness for Cancer Focus NI. The overall target for the partnership is £20K. The team are taking on some amazing challenges in 2023; relay teams for the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon, Mourne 7 Summits and a five a side football tournament just to name a few!
Will you donate today and support the Smiley Monroe team taking on these challenges and support local cancer patients in Northern Ireland?
Chris Monroe, CEO of Smiley Monroe said: We are thrilled to be working alongside Cancer Focus NI and look forward to what this exciting partnership has in store. Knowing that funds will be used to support people and their families affected by cancer throughout Northern Ireland inspires us to raise as much money as we can.
Rosie Forsythe, Cancer Focus NI corporate fundraising manager, said: Cancer patients have been having a particularly difficult time during Covid with the extra stresses the pandemic has brought on top of a cancer diagnosis. We cant thank our new corporate partner Smiley Monroe enough for choosing to support Cancer Focus NI and helping to support local cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.
We are excited to see what challenges the team will take on, who will bake the best buns for coffee mornings, and perhaps who might dust off their hiking boots! The partnership is not just about raising funds, we are also passionate about raising awareness of cancer. We are also looking forward to hosting lots of health promotion days with staff, educating them on the signs & symptoms of cancer.
