Dear Supporters of Stella Maris Volleyball,

Summer is here but we are looking ahead with excitement for the upcoming 2026 volleyball season at Stella Maris. Last year, we piloted our first volleyball team consisting of ten seventh and eighth graders. The girls courageously stepped up to try a new sport and had success improving their skills and teamwork over just a few months last fall. This year, we are looking to grow our program with two teams made up of sixth through ninth graders. We are also excited to share, we will be hosting our first volleyball camp this July for third through twelfth grade girls. There has been plenty of interest, specifically in the younger grades. To support our growing volleyball community, we are looking to update our equipment and provide an environment for hosting other teams. Our current volleyball net and referee stand are well used; the net has cracked fabric in multiple spots and broken ropes that support the tautness of the net on each end that have to be tied together each use to prevent the net from shaking. We are looking to purchase a new net, poles, and ref stand that can be used for many years and events to come. On behalf of the Stella Maris volleyball team, I am asking for your support in this purchase. Our team goal is to raise $6,800 to put towards the equipment.
