It's that time of year again - the excitement is growing, the children are preparing their party dances, the cooks are fattening up the turkeys and goats, the dignitaries writing their speeches the COH slum kidsChristmas party is nearly upon us!
Could you donate to help us put on the party? It would help to provide food, drink, a present for the children and a fantastic party for around 1,300 people who live in one of the poorest places on Earth. This may be the best meal they have all year for some of them it may even be the first proper meal they have had since the last Christmas party. We can only do this thanks to your generosity, so a huge Thank you for any amount you are able to donate.
All it takes for a great CoH Christmas Party is the equivalent cost of a dozen mince pies and a couple of glasses of mulled wine, around £5 per child! So, this Christmas time, as you enjoy some festive fare could you also donate to our Christmas Party and bless not just our children but their families too?
Thank you for thinking of our charity at this special time of year - we would like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a blessed New Year.
Any additional funds over our target will be used to help provide food to the children throughout the year.
And here's the 6th episode from the kid's 2019 Christmas Video (watch out for the final episode appearing on Christmas Eve, when you can see the whole Christmas carol in one go, with loads of ham acting and great dancing!).
Child of Hope is producing a huge social impact for children and their families in Eastern and Northern Uganda through free education, healthcare, clothing, food and welfare. Each donation goes to our work in the slums of Mbale and Karamoja and gets straight to work improving lives and communities.
