Sleep Easy 2023 will see participants spending one night sleeping anywhere but their bed to raise awareness of youth homelessness. Support for those facing homelessness has never been more vital, as the cost-of-living crisis and the uncertainty of the last few years affects us all.

At YMCA Northumberland we support young people through our regular youth drop-in session, detached work and targeted programmes. We work on preventing youth homelessness by providing non judgemental advice and guidance to tackle the root causes of homelessness. All funds raised from Sleep Easy will go into supporting our youth programme.

The Sleep Easy community event will be a fun, activity filled night. We would love to see you there but if you can't make it, no worries! By donating to the Sleep Easy campaign you can "buy" an excuse. If anyone asks where you are we will kindly let them know that you would have loved to be there but:

a. your car broke down just as you were on your way

b. your in laws are staying over who have zero community spirit

c. you have a flight at 7am the next morning for a holiday you've had booked for ages!
