About your challenge
Your challenge of free-falling will last for a few minutes, but for people we support and their families their challenges can be for a lifetime. With your help, we can be there to provide vital care and support to children and adults with physical and learning disabilities in Dorset.
With no previous experience required, your tandem skydive will provide you with the opportunity to freefall at either 10,000ft or 15,000ft whilst attached to a professional instructor. All tandem skydives include a magical 5 minute parachute ride across the Salisbury Plains where the awesome views include sites of prehistoric interest.
Meet one of the families we support
Langside, the specialist school run by Dorset charity Diverse Abilities, has welcomed three-year-old triplets Harvey, Gabriel and Daniel with open arms.
All three boys have profound disabilities and life has been very hard for the family, but with Langsides help this is now changing.
On 28 June 2015, and at only 26 weeks old, we saw the arrival of not just three, but four little guys that would change our lives forevermore Bradley, Daniel, Gabriel and Harvey."
Sadly, little Bradley succumbed to a blood clot and left the family at just 16 days old. The family were left with a sore heart and no time to grieve as they had three warriors in hospital and older kids at home.
With the boys starting Langside School at an early age, the specialist equipment, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists, provided by the charity, is already helping the boys, giving them the greatest opportunity to positively impact their development.
Your donations change lives to so many families just like the Emery family - thank you.
