Story

The Friends of St Neots Museum are running a campaign to purchase a new display cabinet to display local treasures that tell the story of St Neots and surrounding villages. We need to raise a total of £25,000, and through the generosity of our supporters we have already raised part of this amount and this appeal will help us to reach our target.

Our local treasures include the Kimbolton Coin Hoard and the recently discovered Diddington Anglo-Saxon brooch. Help us to preserve and display these incredible objects for our local community!

St Neots Museum was opened in 1995, in the former police station and law court building on New Street. The museum presents the history of the busy market town of St Neots from prehistoric times onwards, and includes the original early 20th-century gaol cells where prisoners were detained.
