Story

Ringworm is a fungal infection which can cause hedgehogs to lose their fur and prickles making them vulnerable in the wild. Ringworm is treated with a topical cream or in severe cases an oral medication. It can take 3-4 weeks to treat the condition and then the hedgehog must stay at the hospital until all their prickles have regrown so they can defend themselves in the wild.
