Story
Its not over until its over everywhere
Now more than ever, it is essential to ensure that families have shelter and the essential items to keep them safe in the wake of disaster.
For many of us, lockdown restrictions are easing, but in some of the most vulnerable countries, the threat of coronavirus continues to rise.
The pandemic is expected to peak in the next two to six months in the worlds most fragile places. Like crowded camps and makeshift settlements in Syria, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso, where we are currently working.
These are places where many people are already vulnerable because of underlying health issues and a lack of food. Where health care facilities are either non-existent or struggle to cope with demand at the best of times.
These are places where the impact of coronavirus could be more devastating than anything we have seen so far.
But our life-saving aid is helping people stay healthy and can help limit the spread of the virus. Thanks to your support, we have helped nearly 50,000 people in six different countries since March, and we have more projects in development.
We need to work now to save lives and limit the devastating long-term impact of coronavirus around the world. Please support us today to help vulnerable families around the world who are affected by disasters and coronavirus.
