Story

Sharni’s Throwdown 2024 is taking place on the 27th April in Wandsworth. The Throwdown is being held in memory of Sharni Ruming on the first anniversary of Sharni’s death.

The event will raise money for the Edward Showler Foundation to fund research into Clear Cell Sarcoma, the terrible cancer that took Sharni’s life. This work is being undertaken at the Cancer Institute at University College London.

Becci Wheatley is organising the day and 4 gyms have generously agreed to take part. These are The F45 Wandsworth, Gymnasium Wandsworth, MF London and WT Fitness.

We are expecting a great turn out to support the day and to honour Sharni’s memory. When the Throwdown was last held in 2022 over 200 competitors took part.

Thank you so much for your support!
